New Feature Implemented in iOS 7

For every new iOS come new features that are usually unveiled. Its a tradition that has been since the iPhone debuted.
iOS 5 came with Notification center switch along with Siri and some other features, iOS 6 came with Apple 3D maps, Siri enhancements, Do no Disturb features amongst others.

iOS 7 wont be left out and recent news reaching us is that Apple is bringing the popular AirDrop feature found in Mac OS X to iOS 7 along with Vimeo and Flickr integration.

What immediately means is that iPhone users will now be able to transfer files between iPhones and Mac using wireless file sharing. This would make sharing of files between iPhones and Mac a whole easier than it used to be.
This is of course a great idea and we have not totally gotten all the info on this app and its extended features.

However, with the WWDC 2013 kicking off on Monday next week, we are sure of seeing what would be unveiled for the new iOS 7.

What are your expectations and things you want implemented in iOS 7? Let us know by dropping a comment.

Android extends gains in key smartphone markets of US Europe and China Kantar

The Android smartphone platform has extended its lead over Apples iPhone in key markets including the United States, Europe and China, a survey showed Monday.

Windows Phone, meanwhile, has made inroads to secure a strong third place showing in some markets, and is ahead of Apple in Italy, according to the survey of fourth quarter sales released by Kantar Worldpanel.

The survey showed Android, the free operating system from Google, remained on top in Europe and most other major markets outside Japan.

Android ended 2013 as the top platform across the five major markets in Europe with 68.6 percent share, while Apple held second place with 18.5 percent.

Windows Phone showed strong year-on-year growth, and in Italy captured 17.1 percent of the market, ahead of Apples 12.8 percent, but behind Androids 66.2 percent, the survey showed.

In the United States, the survey showed Android share rising more than four percentage points over the past year to 50.6 percent, while Apples share declined to 43.9 percent.

"Android finished 2013 strongly, showing year-on-year share growth across 12 major global markets including Europe, USA, Latin America, China and Japan," said Kantars Dominic Sunnebo.

"Windows Phone has now held double-digit share across Europe for three consecutive months. Unfortunately for Nokia the European smartphone market is only growing at three percent year-on-year so success in this market has not been enough to turn around its fortunes reflected in its recent disappointing results."
