HP 10 Tablet with Android 4 1 voice calling available online at Rs 20 235

A new HP voice-calling tablet is now available in India, via an online retailer. Called the HP 10 Tablet, the device has not yet been announced officially, and nor is it visible on the companys own listings globally. It has been priced at Rs. 20,767 (and available at a discounted price of Rs. 20,235).

The HP 10 Tablet according to its online retailer listing, runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and features a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor, coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. Featuring voice-calling, the HP 10 Tablet bears a single-SIM card slot (GSM), of regular size.

Other features of the HP 10 Tablet, gleaned from its Flipkart listing, include 8GB of built-in storage, and microSD card storage expandability up to 32GB. It bears a 2-megapixel rear camera, and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting. Notably, eBay India has also listed the device, at a price for Rs. 23,000.

Apart from 3G (21Mbps) connectivity via the SIM-card slot, the HP 10 Tablet is listed to feature Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro HDMI, Micro-USB, a 3.5mm jack, and Bluetooth HS v.30. The HP 10 Tablet runs on a 4600mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 5 hours of continuous video playback.

The HP 10 Tablet measures 263 x 173 x 10.9 mm, and weighs in at 632 grams. The tablet features access to Google services, including the Google Play store. Also touted by the listing, is the HP ePrint service, the built-in stereo speakers.

Notably, earlier in January, HP announced two new voice-calling tablets for the Indian market, the HP Slate6 VoiceTab and HP Slate7 VoiceTab. The company however, did not reveal the pricing for both devices, but notes that the HP Slate6 VoiceTab and HP Slate7 VoiceTab can be expected to be available in India in February.

The Lumia 900 receives a healthy price cut now 49 99 on AT T

If you thought that buying into a Lumia 900 isnt worth it without the WP8 side-salad you might want to read on. Nokias WP flagman has received a healthy price cut and is now available for only $49.99 on a two-year deal with AT&T.

The updated price comes in time for the pink version of the Lumia 900 too.

The Lumia ran into some turmoil when Windows Phone 8 was unveiled because it was deemed unfit to support it. This spurred a logical backlash within Nokias faithful fans because they felt cheated into buying a destitute product. But the Lumia 900 will receive some WP8 goodies via the WP 7.8 update. Add that to the competitive pricing and things are looking good.

The Lumia sports a gorgeous 4.3" ClearBlack AMOLED display of WVGA resolution, LTE (for the US), 8 MP snapper, a single-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon processor and a beautiful polycarbonate body. If you like you could brush up on the Lumia 900 in our full-fledged review.
